Lake Dillon Boat Rides is into its second season as private charter/boat tour business catering to summer tourists to Summit County, Colorado. We are seeking a full-time captain that is also willing to manage the business and generate business via social media and face-to-face sales and marketing to local hotels, restaurants and property management companies. As this is a seasonal business that peaks July 1 – September 30, this is a 1099 role with commissions and bonus available in addition an hourly wage for driving our boat; all tips go to the captain. *Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boat Captain to lead 2-hour charters in the beautiful waters of Key Largo. As a part-time Boat Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our passengers during their excursions.
*Responsibilities:
Safely operate and navigate the boat during charters
Provide informative and engaging commentary about the local area and marine life
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vessel
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
*Requirements:
Valid USCG Captain’s License
Previous experience as a Boat Captain
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of Key Largo’s waterways and attractions
Ability to work independently and in a team
Flexible hours and availability for part-time shifts
