Would you love to spend the summer and fall cruising the beautiful waters surrounding Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine? Then look no further!

Acadian Boat Tours is currently hiring USCG OUPV operators and USCG 100-ton licensed captains to operate our puffin & lighthouse tours, nature & sightseeing cruises, and charter fishing cruises. Season runs April – October; limited housing available.

OUPV captains must:
* Have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
* Be comfortable operating in the fog with adequate navigational aids
*Be enthusiastic about the local marine environment.
*Have a passion for sharing the experience of cruising with up to 6 passengers at a time.
*Have the experience and ability to dock and tie up 27-31′ vessels by themselves in an array of wind and weather conditions.
*Have a basic knowledge of small vessel maintenance, and be willing to assist in daily maintenance and fueling of the charter vessels.

USCG 100-ton captains must:
* Have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
* Be comfortable operating in the fog with adequate navigational aids
*Be a positive team manager and influence
*Have a passion for customer service and experiences
*Have the experience and ability to dock and direct the tie up of 65′ twin screw vessels in an array of wind and weather conditions.
* Have a working knowledge of life saving systems and fire fighting systems
*Have a working knowledge of large vessel maintenance and dock maintenance, and be willing to assist in daily maintenance of all inspected passenger vessels and the shared dock, as well as fueling of all passenger vessels

Pay is based on experience.

I am looking for a licensed captain who can provide help, training for the tasks of a new owner with no real experience and who will meet the needs of boating. weekdays and weekends.

Hiring a couple to manage successful yacht rental business in Manhattan. Positions are year round, but mostly April 1-Nov 30. Approx 600 charters per season, on two 2020 model year power vessels. Vessel operations, maintenance and crew management, along with marketing, customer engagement (phone/email) and guest relations. Salary, profit sharing and right couple can earn equity in business to become owners. Vessels are not live aboard, so jobs are best fit for a couple who has housing/family here in NYC area.
