We are currently in search of a reliable, experienced, and licensed Boat Captain for weekend trips starting May of 2023 for the entire boating season, and hopefully for many future seasons. The qualified candidate would be required to serve as Captain of 2022 Regal 42’ Grand Coupe and assist in planning day and weekend trips for family excursions. Excursions would begin at the home dock of the boat at the Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, NJ and could include ports of interest in coastal areas of NJ, NY, and CT.

Our growing team is looking for USCG licensed captains to operate the Club’s meticulously maintained 36′ – 44’ Hinckley yachts in The Hamptons, NY where company provided housing is available. B&G captains operate day and evening trips and are back in their home port each night. Seasons run May to October in the Northeast, and November to May in southern and Bahamas harbors. $1100 weekly salaried position with benefits.

Eco-Adventures is currently hiring Captains for our EcoTours operating out of Ma’alaea and Lahaina harbors on the beautiful island of Maui.

Captains are responsible for the safety of all passengers and crew, the safe operation of the vessel, and managing, leading and mentoring crew members.

Our ideal candidates have strong mechanical/preventive maintenance/troubleshooting skills, are great at teaching and mentoring crew, have strong situational awareness and decision-making skills, excellent judgment, and can remain calm under pressure. 100T license and valid credentials required. Experience navigating Maui country waters is a plus.

These are full time positions with pay from $30/hr, based on skills and experience. Captains also receive tips and commission, a great benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, free uniforms, discounts in our retail stores, and more.

Applicants must be capable of working long hours in a physically challenging outdoor environment, lifting up to 35 lbs and team lifting over 35 lbs, standing for extended periods with frequent bending and squatting while moving about on a vessel at sea. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug test (or proof of participation in a USCG random testing program).
